A school rebuilt
A share of every ticket funds the renovation of a public primary school in Jos — announced at the finish festival.

Jos Unity Marathon is a 10 km walk across the city we all share — every faith, every tribe, one route. Walk it with us.
Why we walk
For decades, our city's story has too often been told through its crises. The Jos Unity Marathon tells a different one: thousands of neighbours — Christian and Muslim, indigene and settler, young and old — walking the same route, at the same time, toward the same finish line.
Set 1,200 metres up on the cool Plateau, among the hills and ancient rocks that make Jos unlike anywhere else in Nigeria, this is a day for the city to move together. Not a protest, not a politics — a walk. Because peace is built one shared step at a time.
The route
Flag-off at Jay City Food Central, winding through Jos's neighbourhoods and hills before the finish festival. Final route published with security & traffic authorities.

Land of rocks & resilience
On the road south of Jos, the great rocks of Riyom have balanced on each other for longer than anyone can remember — different stones, impossible angles, holding each other up.
They're our reminder of what the Plateau already knows: things that lean on each other don't fall. That's the spirit we carry down every kilometre of this walk.

Yes. The route is planned with Plateau State security agencies and traffic authorities, with marshals, medics, water points and ambulance cover along all 10 km.
Your race bib, a finisher's medal, refreshments on the route, and access to the finish festival — music, food village and community celebrations.
Ticket proceeds fund the event and its community projects: renovating a public primary school, donating sports kit to youth centres, and sponsoring ten students for a full academic session. We publish the impact report openly.
